Hear from guest speakers and get inspired by their stories on their career journeys!

Ms Ng Swee San, President, Screenwriters Association 

Swee San has written for acclaimed prime-time TV shows such as The Pupil, Code of Law (all 3 seasons), In Cold Blood and Tanglin. Her full-length play Marriage of Inconvenience was staged by TheatreWorks in 2004. She was subsequently commissioned by TheatreWorks to work on original plays as well as adaptations for school stagings. She has written the book for two school musicals, as well as edited many other children's books. Swee San holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Tisch NYU (Asia campus in Singapore) and teaches script-writing at Puttnam School of Film and Animation, LASALLE College of The Arts.

Mr Eugene Cheng, Partner & Creative Lead at HighSpark Pte Ltd

Eugene Cheng is Partner & Creative Lead at HighSpark, a strategic presentation design company that also provides presentation skills courses to Fortune 500 companies like Oracle, Nike and more. He is also partner in a corporate videocompany: MotionSauce and manages a blog on freelancing:

Ms Virlyn Xiao Yaying, Recruiter, Hubspot 

Virlyn brings with her 5 years of experience finding talents and connecting people to their dream jobs across various technology industries. Virlyn is currently part of the talent acquisition team at HubSpot, an inbound marketing and sales platform that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers. Prior to this, Virlyn was a talent hunter at Google where she spent 2 years finding unicorns for the Google Cloud business across APAC regions. Before joining the workforce, Virlyn completed her Bachelor degree in Business Management from Singapore Management University and interned at multiple organisations.

Ms Ang Jing Xuan, SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme Participant, Azendian Solutions Pte Ltd

Jing Xuan graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in 2017 as one of the top students of the Diploma in Financial Business Informatics. She was subsequently hired by Azendian Solutions Pte Ltd as an Associate under the Earn and Learn Programme, where she provides data analysis and visualisation solutions across various projects. As part of the Earn and Learn Programme, Jing Xuan is pursuing the Specialist Diploma in Big Data & Analytics at Temasek Polytechnic.
