Assessment

  • Submit two to three hard copies of complete standard documents and the required number of soft copies to the CPE within 30 days of submitting your application.  Refer to the Document Submission List for the details of the hard and soft copies of the documents to be submitted.

  • An assessment team from the CPE will be appointed to handle your application.  The team will review the documents you submitted in a desktop assessment.

  • Upon successful completion of the desktop assessment, the appointed Lead Assessor will arrange with you to conduct a two- to three-day site assessment.

  • The assessors will evaluate their findings and present verbally these findings during their closing meeting with you after the site assessment.  Subsequently, the Lead Assessor will send an assessment report, as well as a request for corrective action plans (CAP) to address key areas, if any.  Download the Corrective Action Plan template that you would need to use to submit your CAP.  The CAP must be submitted to the CPE within 30 days after you receive the request.

  • The assessors will evaluate the CAP that you submit to check if it is appropriate and acceptable.  You may be requested to re-submit the CAP if it is found to be incomplete or insufficient.

  • The assessors will make a recommendation to the CPE on the type of EduTrust certification to award.  Any corrective actions taken, including CAPs, during the after site verification will not affect the assessment results.

  • Based on the CPE's decision, you will receive a notification regarding the result of your EduTrust application. Upon payment of the necessary fees, the result of your application will be released and you can then collect the certificate, if an EduTrust award is given.

  • The entire process, from complete document submission to the issuance of the result notification, will generally not take more than three months, excluding any delay caused by the incomplete submission of documents or the need to submit the CAP.
