Speech by Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence     11 Mar 2009   A public consultation exercise to seek feedback on the key features of the new regulatory regime was conducted from 11 March to 6 May 2009. Members of the public and stakeholders in the private education sector were invited to send in their feedback. The public consultation documents and summary of responses can be found at the Public Consultation on Proposed Regulatory Regime for the Private Education Sector webpage.     17 Mar 2009   An industry briefing was conducted on 17 Mar 2009 to facilitate the understanding of regulatory provisions by the PEIs that fall under the scope of the new regulatory regime.
